A new look for an old reason.
I took a month long hiatus from blogging. I threw my all in getting married and enjoying our honeymoon, a phone and most certainly, a blog had no place in these events. But life has semi returned to normal. (By normal I mean I have already been to Cape Town since getting back from honeymoon)
I am happy. Like really happy. I’m happy with my choices, my home, my life, my work. I am just generally happy. In order to keep this balance (for as long as I can) I have decided to make a few changes. On here as well as in life. Nothing deep or life altering. I just decided to adopt a few good habits.
I have decided to finally make the commitment and grab Greenlydia.com. You will notice it changing in the next few weeks. I love writing, as bad as I am at it; I enjoy it so I am throwing caution to the wind.
Lately blogging communities have started to annoy me (please don’t stone me) but I was added to this thing on Facebook and I have been watching it for a while, it’s not much of a community if you ask me. I have read about women complaining that blogging is like “High School” and how they “aren’t one of the cool kids”. Really ladies? Who cares? If you blog because you truly enjoy it it won’t matter if you have 1 view of 100.
The way I see it is if you make it like high school, then it will be. Greenlydia is my voice, my opinion and my creation. I don’t want buttons or stickers on my site anymore. I do not want to feel obligated to anyone. I want to be able to say what I want, when I want to.
So here you go. The new fresher Greenlydia. And other colours too.
My diary of being a 20 something year old, married, wine loving adventure seeking women.
